Cozad High School Additions & Renovations

Cozad Community Schools

Wilkins ADP partnered with Cozad Community Schools to deliver an addition and renovation at the high school campus, guided by a districtwide facilities assessment and master planning study. The project enhances safety, functionality, and flexibility while reinforcing the role of the high school as an academic, activities, and community hub.

The design introduces a new activities entrance that serves as the primary public entry to the building, integrating relocated district administrative offices within a secure, controlled arrival sequence. Anchoring the addition is a new gymnasium that functions as a focal point for student life and community events, featuring interior glazing that creates strong visual connections to adjacent corridors and concession areas.

Renovations to existing spaces improve circulation, finishes, and overall usability throughout the facility. The addition is carefully coordinated with the existing building through the use of durable exterior materials and modern glazing, enhancing daylighting while reinforcing the established character of the campus. The completed project provides Cozad High School with modernized, flexible spaces that support academics, activities, administration, and long-term community use.
