Broken Bow High School
Renovation & Addition
Broken Bow High School underwent a huge renovation and addition, including 99,858 square feet of renovated space and a 32,300-square-foot addition, to create a modern, functional, and fully accessible learning environment. The project included a complete renovation of the auditorium, featuring new theatrical seating, updated sound and rigging systems, and refreshed stage drapery. The gymnasium was expanded to accommodate full side courts and received a new sound system, locker rooms, and coaches’ offices. A secure south entrance was added to centralize administration, while new shop spaces tripled the area available for Woods, Ag/Welding, and Automotive programs. Science classrooms were fully modernized, and new flooring was installed throughout much of the school. Fire suppression systems were added throughout the facility, and a new concession stand, and renovated restrooms were included in the 38’ building. An elevator was installed to provide ADA compliance and facilitate the movement of large instruments from the music area to the stage. The music program also received updated spaces, including a band room, vocal room, and multiple practice rooms. The commons area was expanded to allow all grades to eat together, and a connecting link was added to enhance safety and circulation between buildings. The SPED and Life Skills areas were completely renovated with private toilets and showers, and exterior ramps were added to ensure full ADA accessibility. This project transformed the campus into a safe, efficient, and contemporary educational environment, supporting both students and staff across all programs.
