Central Nebraska Veterans' Home Memorial

The Veterans Memorial solemnly presents itself at the entrance of the Central Nebraska Veterans' Home, welcoming visitors and creating a peaceful reflection for Veterans’ and their families. Eight pillars, connected by a sleek brushed aluminum beam, form a dignified semi-circle, standing 16 feet high, proudly displaying a plaque representing each branch of the military. Following the backside of the semi-circle and extending to the west, an array of smaller pillars complement the main pillars, bearing information about significant conflicts. The Memorial is open to the public and annually hosts a special Memorial Day event.
