Grand Island Village

This project involved building townhouses, apartments, and a 30-unit skilled care facility for independent living. The buildings are designed so that residents can easily move to assisted living or skilled care, when required. All the living types are connected by walkways so staff and residents never have to leave the building to move to different living areas. The skilled care facility building design was centered around one main kitchen with two dining rooms and two distinct neighborhood-style living areas. It also included its own laundry, chapel, and garage separate from the Village.
