The University's College of Education faced the challenge of having its departments spread out across the campus, necessitating a new centralized facility. The ultimate solution involved creating a classroom hub in close proximity to the academic core of the campus and a practicum clinic on the publicly accessible side. Faculty and support spaces were strategically positioned between these areas. In designing the new building, the goal was to integrate the architectural forms and materials from both the Health and Sports Center and the older West Campus buildings. This approach aimed to establish a harmonious connection between the new College of Education building and the existing campus structures, ensuring a seamless blend of architectural styles.
