Gabi Zaferis

Interior Design Intern

Gabi's passion for sustainability and healthy environments drives her in her studies and career goals in interior design. Inspired by a professor's research on environmentally friendly built environments, Gabi is drawn to the use of technology to create healthier spaces. As a Senior at UNL, Gabi is involved in campus life: she's the Graphics Coordinator on the Executive Team for the IIDA chapter, she's served as the BEDI chair (Belonging Equity Diversity Inclusion) for her sorority, Gamma Phi Beta, and lends her support to creating safe environments within the Collegiate Recovery Council at UNL. Outside of her academic pursuits, Gabi finds solace and joy in movement and creativity. Whether it's yoga, pilates, lifting weights, or practicing jiu-jitsu with friends, she loves to keep her body and mind engaged.
