Renovation included 34,421 square feet of renovated space across the lower level and main floor of the existing facility for Western Nebraska Community College, as well as a new entry addition.

The project transformed underutilized interior areas into a modern health sciences training environment supporting nursing, emergency medical services, health information technology, medical laboratory technology, and surgical technology programs. Renovations included specialized simulation labs, skills labs, instructional classrooms, faculty offices, and collaborative learning spaces designed to support cohort-based instruction and hands-on clinical training.

Planning addressed simulation equipment integration, building system upgrades, and flexible lab environments to meet contemporary healthcare training standards
