Cozad Elementary School Additions & Renovations

A districtwide facilities assessment and master planning study guided the addition and renovation of the elementary school campus, establishing a clear framework for safety, circulation, and long-term flexibility. The project focused on creating welcoming, age-appropriate learning environments that support contemporary teaching and learning.

A new secure, controlled main entrance creates a clear point of arrival, improving visibility, access control, and visitor management while maintaining a welcoming experience for students, staff, and families. The project includes a new addition and renovations to existing interior spaces, allowing the building to be reorganized to improve student flow and overall functionality.

Outdated prefabricated classroom buildings were removed and replaced with permanent, purpose-designed spaces. Interior renovations strengthen connections throughout the building and create flexible learning environments tailored to elementary-age students.

The completed project delivers a cohesive, modernized elementary school that supports students, educators, and the broader school community for years to come.
