After assessing the existing space and gathering user feedback, Southeast Community College determined that new construction would best meet the long-term needs of its welding program. The new 4,300-square-foot facility, located on the Beatrice campus, is purpose-built to support hands-on learning and future program growth.

The building includes 20 state-of-the-art welding booths, a tool room, and a prominent main entry that gives the program strong visibility on campus. A dedicated office with interior windows provides clear sightlines into the lab space. The space is designed to house modern equipment and create an efficient, professional environment for welding instruction.
