Kearney Area Animal Shelter

The new Kearney Area Animal Shelter building aimed to provide a nurturing environment for the adoption, housing, and care of animals for Kearney, NE and the Buffalo County area. With a focus on the animals' well-being, Wilkins paid special attention to the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility. We implemented innovative kennel cleaning designs that facilitated efficient and effective cleaning procedures, minimizing the risk of diseases and maintaining a pristine environment. Recognizing the significance of air quality in preventing the spread of illnesses, a continuous air exchange systems was added throughout the building. This feature ensured a constant supply of fresh and clean air, reducing the chances of airborne diseases and promoting the overall health of the animals. The collaboration between Wilkins ADP and the Kearney Area Animal Shelter resulted in a thoughtfully designed facility that harmoniously blended functionality, aesthetics, and animal welfare.
