Holdrege High School Performing Arts
Renovation
Since the opening of the current Holdrege High School facility in 1961, little to no improvements had been made to portions of the building, most notably the performing arts area. Much of this area of the building was in poor condition including the instrument storage, the acoustic treatment and finishes. In addition, the band room had permanent risers which limited the flexibility of the rehearsal space and the existing layout of the space was not conducive to their current program. Wilkins ADP was hired in the fall of 2019 to reimagine these spaces and create new and exciting learning and rehearsing spaces for the performing arts. The permanent risers were removed and both rehearsal spaces received all new finishes, instrument storage and acoustic treatment.
