For over 50 years patrons in the school districts of Clearwater, Ewing and Orchard made various attempts to consolidate with other school districts. Each effort over the course of those 50+ years failed until 2019. In May of 2019 the three school districts jointly hired Wilkins ADP to be their Architect and help navigate the three school districts through a pre-bond planning process to educate the patrons of the three districts on the benefits of consolidation and of building a new PK-12 school facility. After month of hard work and a sprited bond campaign, district patrons in all three communities passed a $34.3 million bond issue on November 12. Design work commenced shortly thereafter on the new 125,000 sf PK-12 facility. The new school features a top loading gymnasium, a commons area overlooking the athletic field, auxiliary gymnasium with performing arts component, student collaboration areas, a maker space, STEM spaces and the latest technology in the science labs, classrooms, media center and throughout the entire facility.
